Modern trends in the design of premises, and in the design of the bedroom in particular, is the absence of unnecessary things. To make the interior of the bedroom look, it is necessary to adhere to a single style in the design. So it is easier to decide on the color palette, pick up furniture, textiles and accessories. Actually bedroom design can be any, just the most popular at the moment more laconic: modern style or modern, minimalism, high-tech and oriental or Japanese. The design of bedrooms in one of these keys is chosen by young people. All of them are characterized by clear lines, color design – often expressive, built on contrasting colors. Solid people gravitate to more calm and cozy interiors. Such an atmosphere is created using the classic style, as well as Provence or Scandinavian. Creative people prefer more extravagant – loft, art deco.

Bedroom in modern style

The basic rule of modern style is simple forms that are repeated in different objects. Due to variations of this form in furniture, wall decoration, accessories, a dynamic and, at the same time, laconic design is created. The second rule – the lines are clean and smooth, without curls and excessive decorations. Furniture – only necessary, everything that can be – removed from the eyes. With this task perfectly cope with built-in closets or closets.

The design of the walls in the bedroom of modern style is mostly monochrome or with a vaguely pronounced graphic pattern. In general, the rule is the same: brevity. One dominant color, one or two, maximum – three for emphasis. And the dominant colors are chosen light, not bright. This “faded” is diluted with bright accents.

One of the latest trends is a wall of a brighter color, sometimes – contrasting, sometimes – the same color, but a bright shade. In the bedroom accentuate usually or the wall near which the bed stands, or the opposite. It depends on what you want to draw attention to.

Another trend is vertical stripes of a different companion color. Sometimes instead of accentuating the wall with color, some graphic image is applied, often – photo printing. Subjects choose also modern, especially popular photos of the night city, or what others. Then all other items are chosen in the same gamut as the photo wallpaper.

Modern style can have some idea, reflecting the worldview of the owner, his habits and interests. For example, some touches of any ethnic trends – oriental, Scandinavian or any other, marine theme, forests…yes any, which is consonant with your current state. But then the color scheme should be selected from their inherent range, or make it neutral.

Bedrooms in modern style are often more masculine. The lack of “decorations” and unnecessary details – this is what the stronger half likes, and also the fact that in such a room it is easier to maintain order.

Minimalist interior

This direction in design is characterized by an even more rigid approach to the amount of furniture. Details are very few, only what is necessary.

Also a more strict approach to the choice of color scheme: almost all furnishings and accessories are made in one color, and in order to design was not boring monotony is broken by different textures and textures. For example, walls – alternating glossy and matte stripes of the same color, textiles that have an interesting texture, etc.

As you can see, here as well as in modernism, there may be some idea. It is she who brings individual features in a rather cold “pure” style. For example, in the photo below, thanks to the characteristic binding on the doors of the closet in the design of the bedroom there is a hint of oriental cultures.

Another style, where it is easy to design a room for men and a little more difficult – for girls, but it is well realized in small bedrooms, because except for the bed, there may be only a closet and a couple of bedside tables. Everything else is hidden or taken out in other rooms. As a result, even a small room looks spacious.

High-tech in the bedroom

This style is considered not very suitable for the bedroom: it implies the presence of bright colors, shiny surfaces, metallic details. Agree, really not the most suitable environment for relaxation. But when it is young people stopped in front of such arguments: very dynamic interior is obtained, which is impressed by the active part of society.

As curtains in such interiors are used more often Roman or roller blinds. They are most consonant with the main ideas of the style. Colors – mostly in white, gray and brown. The abundance of light is very important. It just has to be a lot.

But shiny surfaces in the design of bedrooms are almost not decent even in this style. If there is, then mostly – on the ceiling, maybe in some elements of decoration. If you allow some mixing of styles, you can get an interesting symbiosis, as in the photo below.

Bedroom design in classic style

Want a chic interior in the bedroom? You need to pay attention to the classic style. For young people, it is too pompous, and mature people like it because of the atmosphere of comfort and coziness. Here already use chic fabrics, draperies, furniture with gilding and curls. All the attributes of the classics have a place.

A characteristic feature of the furniture are high backs of the bed, with a rich decoration. They can be wooden or upholstered with fabrics, leather. In the footboard can stand in the same style made banquette or a small sofa.

Gamma in the design of the bedroom in the classical style also remains mostly restrained: only gold tones and traditional ornaments on the walls are added. In this case, plant motifs are more appropriate, but strongly stylized. For example, as in the photo above.

On the ceiling and walls can be present moldings: various moldings, columns, frames, pilasters. All these elements look good in spacious rooms with a high ceiling, as well as an abundance of draperies on the windows.

Provence

This style is more inherent in women’s bedrooms. In Provence in textiles and on the walls are often used floral ornaments, frills. All this is characteristic of the beautiful half of humanity. Colors – blue, pink, lilac, sometimes – green shades. This style is for romantic individuals: it is very soft and exciting.

But in the same way you can make a more austere interior, although it undoubtedly belongs to the same style.

The same style can be more rustic: not only in the cities live there people. It fits perfectly into the interior of a wooden house: beams are welcome in such a design, wooden walls are tinted in light shades.

Japanese bedroom interior

One of the most original cultures – attractive Japan. Everyone has heard about the cramped conditions on the islands, so all the traditional items are laconic. The colors are gray, brown, white, red. Dominant usually light shades of gray, white, sometimes – beige, all the rest – to accentuate in small quantities.

Very often you can see an imitation of traditional partitions made of rice cloth and bamboo – few people can build a house out of wood: not only is it not cheap, such partitions take up a lot of space. That’s why light partitions are used to divide space into rooms. In our realities, they turn into a decorative element: this is how cabinet doors, ceilings and decorative panels are decorated.

Pay attention to the shape of the beds. They are usually very low, and are made of wood. The base is painted, as a rule, in a dark color, in size it is decently wider and longer than the mattress laid on it. Another characteristic feature is the absence of a headboard.
