Modern building technologies in pursuit of energy efficiency have minimized such phenomenon as natural air inflow and outflow. But without circulation of air masses and fresh air inflow, the quality of life is significantly reduced and well-being deteriorates. Therefore, ventilation in a private house or apartment – one of the pressing issues that have to be solved in one way or another. There are two approaches to ventilation of residential premises – to organize channels for natural air exchange or install a system with forced air movement, which provides fans. Natural ventilation is good because it does not depend on the availability of electricity, but the intensity of its work is affected by weather factors. In some situations, it may not be sufficient. Forced air exchange, on the contrary, maintains stable parameters, but only if there is electricity. The universal solution is to combine both types, but the system must be well thought out.
