Log houses: options for interior design

If the log in the log cabin of good quality, smooth and beautiful it is polished and covered with tinting compounds. They do not hide the texture of wood, but on the contrary, make it more distinct. And such a solution fits into different styles, the design is modern and harmonious.

Often wood is covered with tinting, giving it a light, almost white color. It is rarely exactly white. Then with pinkish, then with a beige tint, the color of cream or clarified milk. Light-colored logs create a special atmosphere. Look at the photo below for examples of such interiors.

In general, many solutions are built on contrasting colors. In log houses it is standard either lightened wood and dark furniture, or vice versa – dark colored wood in combination with light furniture.

If you’re tempted by something more unconventional, check out the following photos. The best way to create a non-trivial dwelling is to emphasize the natural imperfections of wood. In this technique, this effect is given by dark colors. Only the main thing – do not overdo it and do not make the room too dark.

Just do not be deceived. Deliberate carelessness requires a very delicate calculation and thoughtful selection of color. You have to try it more than once and more than twice: each wood requires its own tone and even the way it is applied. If you want to create something like this – first on some scraps of materials used in finishing practice, pick up the colors. Interior of a bedroom in a log house

The bedroom should be chamber, cozy. In it, everything should dispose to rest. And most often bedrooms are made in calm, light colors, inserting only a few color accents.

The techniques in the design are the same: contrasts and playing with the texture of wood. But, on the other hand, there is little difference between such a wall and a well-finished brick or concrete wall. The way out is to emphasize the color or texture. It turns out very interesting interiors. Especially in combination with ceiling beams.

And again contrasts: colors, textures, shapes. The main task is to unite and play everything. Creamy tones of wood on the walls are repeated on the ceiling, in textiles and lamp shades. Wood, silk leather – the most elite materials. Behind the restrained lines of this interior one can guess confidence and stability.
